Bill Rogers’ interest in photography originated when he was a pre-teen with his first camera, a Kodak Instamatic 110 c. 1974 and his dad's Mimiya 35mm SLR.
Throughout college—studying architecture, fine art, and industrial design, and working professionally as a graphic designer and art director—photography remained a hobby that became a passion with the acquisition of a digital SLR.
In recent years, Bill has been drawn to the botanical beauty of the Dallas Arboretum as a prime location to photograph his daughter. Having a particular fondness for macro photography, the flowers and plantscapes of the arboretum became a frequent subject as well.
Bill currently operates a graphic design/marketing communications/web development business in Deep Ellum. He lives in Lake Highlands.
